AGAINST THE GRAIN: WOODS IN PERFUMERY

Thursday, October 29, 2015   6:30 PM

Woods are one of the key ingredients used in perfumes.
Various woods and their resins are added to impart their pleasing warmth and distinctive scents.
Woody fragrances can range from outdoorsy to smoky to evergreen to old wood. Woody notes also span the entire spectrum, from rough and rugged to pretty and elegant.
This evening will feature as many different woody essential oils and perfumes that we can gather.
Stop by and explore!
And, yes, we’ll have snacks and sips on hand.
(There is no charge for this class.)
